"...I decided to visit California for a year or two to see its wonderful flora and the famous Yosemite Valley. All the world was before me and every day was a holiday, so it did not seem important to which one of the world's wildernesses I first should wander."
--John Muir (1868)
We spent a lot of time at the Morro Bay town beach, which is dog-friendly, and hanging around the park, but we also took a lot of side trips. One day we went down to Montana de Oro State Park, which has an absolutely spectacular bluff trail that winds above the rocky shoreline below. Pictures (at least MY pictures) don't do this area justice.
While throwing the ball for Tucker at Spooner's Cove, we talked to some fishermen who were pulling up in their kayaks. This guy was pretty happy with his catch!
